Rural Oxford Connections - Our Service

How Fast Is It?

Until recently, many consumers in rural areas, have only had access to dial-up internet. Although this is adequate for some web browsing and occasional email checking, a much faster internet experience is becoming avaiable as part of the ROC project. The diagram below helps to illustrate what current dial-up users can expect in improvement with Wireless High Speed Internet.

How our Service Works

Wireless High Speed is a terrestrial based microwave technology. A broadband signal is sent from an Execulink Telecom Wireless Tower and picked up by a device, called a Broadband Access System, which is mounted on the outside wall or roof of your home.
