About the Opportunity

  • Respond to customer inquiries, process orders and sell telecommunications services to residential customers (Internet, Cable/IPTV, Home Phone)
  • Provide “Over the Top” customer service
  • Build rapport and manage relationships with residential customers
  • Respond to inbound calls, web and live chat inquiries
  • Participate in outbound calling campaigns
  • Use active listening skills to produce a high success rate of customer retention during customer retention calls
  • Accept, enter and process customer account payments
  • Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database
  • Analyze customer information, provide recommendations on possible improvements to products and services and offer long-term solutions to retain customers
  • Work from the Woodstock location on shift rotations; full-time shift rotations include Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., 10:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and will include some Saturday shifts from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Part-time staff work are required to work a minimum of twenty (20) hours per week, as scheduled.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the CFO, the Accounting Manager will play an integral role on the management team and be responsible for the successful leadership and guidance of the Credit & Collections and Corporate Accounting teams, while ensuring that the organization’s accounting deliverables are executed with a high level of financial integrity.  The Accounting Manager will also build trusting and respectful relationships across all areas of the business, while providing financial support and expertise when required.

The Accounting Manager will be specifically responsible for the following key deliverables:

  • Proactive and empowering leadership of the Corporate Accounting, Billing and Collection teams, including the effective performance management and training of all employees.
  • Oversight of the corporate accounting function with the effective analysis of all financial data, statements and reports for accuracy, while ensuring that all critical deadlines are met and reported to the CFO.
  • Responsibility for the timely and accurate execution of the customer billing cycle.
  • Responsibility for the review and delivery of all government and regulatory financial reporting.

About the Opportunity

This contract position is an excellent opportunity for a marketing professional to expand their scope!  The Marketing Coordinator works within a group of experienced staff to continually develop new marketing initiatives, as well as provide support in the day to day activities of the team.  This position requires a creative and highly motivated team player with experience writing for publications, online media, including the development of marketing communications materials. Superior research, project management, demonstrated planning and organizational skills, exceptional writing and editing skills, including a keen attention to detail are required.  The successful candidate will be responsible for creating advertising, planning events, developing materials for promotional events, administrative duties, and effectively utilizing social media to connect us with our customers and the communities we serve.  Comprehensive training will be provided, to integrate the successful candidate to this contract position.

Required Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in Marketing and Communications or related field and/or proven experience
  • Superior research, writing, editing and communication skills, including a keen attention to detail and experience in creating SEO content
  • Demonstrated connectivity and engagement with the social media world including knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, technology, and their respective participants (Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
  • Demonstrated understanding of what goes into all aspects of successful marketing of a website e.g. SEO, web analytics
  • Working knowledge of traditional print production, digital advertising, media planning and other advertising media, with the proven ability to work closely, build & negotiate relationships with both vendors and contract partners
  • Valid Class G Licence and access to reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated both externally with customers as well as coordinating with other departments internally
  • Experience with graphic design, HTML and/or photography, web production, including SEO and CMS, knowledge of telecommunications (internet, cable and telephone) products and services experience, and blog writing and event planning skills are considered assets

About the Opportunity

As the Service Delivery Supervisor, you will lead your team to meet and exceed customer and organizational expectations. You’re a mentor and a coach!  Through providing productive feedback and thoughtful guidance to your direct reports, you will develop and maintain a team with an exceptional service delivery culture.  This is a full-time position, based out of our Woodstock office, with working hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Human resources duties for direct reports; approval of time sheets, vacation requests, regular one-to-one meetings, performance support, coaching and management, hiring, on-boarding, training and development
  • Taking the lead on new products for building, documenting and driving the implementation of processes to increase efficiencies of the Service Delivery Team activities
  • In cooperation with the Service Delivery Manager, you will set performance goals and objectives, consistently monitoring and providing feedback, both formal and informal, to coach to performance excellence
  • Performing regular Quality Assurance checks on department operations and processes, identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement; reporting results to the Service Delivery Manager
  • Supervising and acting as an escalation point for customer concern resolution, inventory management and shipping (modems, business hardware, etc.)
  • Performing daily service delivery tasks
  • Leading by example. You’ll be expected to jump in as needed to meet the demands of our customers as well as actively participate in a variety of team projects

You Offer

  • Post-Secondary education with a focus on Business and/or Leadership
  • 3-5 years of Telecommunications experience, along with 2 years of supervisory/lead/coach experience in a call centre setting
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to accuracy, detail and follow-up
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple assigned tasks using excellent planning and organizational skills, all within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Valid Class G Driver’s Licence and access to reliable transportation.
  • Above all, have an upbeat personality and a positive attitude!
  • Ability to perform moderate manual lifting duties (under 50lbs)
