About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Growing our mobility customer base by responding to customer inquiries, through inbound calls, web inquiries and customer campaigns
  • Meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets through maintaining up to date, accurate data in our customer database analyzing customer information, providing recommendations on possible improvements to products and services and offering long-term solutions to retain customers

You Offer

About the Opportunity

Sales and customer service are key components to your success and ours!  Your primary objective is generating business from new opportunities as well as from our existing customer base. You will sell telecommunication services (Internet, Cable/IPTV, FTTH, Home Phone) to residential customers by responding to inbound calls, web inquiries, live chats, outbound calling campaigns and presentations as well as door-to-door campaigns, in order to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and will include some weeknights and Saturdays as scheduled, to support corporate sales strategies or functions.  Travel between Execulink offices will be required from time to time.

Reporting to the CFO, the Accounting Manager will play an integral role on the management team and be responsible for the successful leadership and guidance of the Credit & Collections and Corporate Accounting teams, while ensuring that the organization’s accounting deliverables are executed with a high level of financial integrity.  The Accounting Manager will also build trusting and respectful relationships across all areas of the business, while providing financial support and expertise when required.

The Accounting Manager will be specifically responsible for the following key deliverables:

  • Proactive and empowering leadership of the Corporate Accounting, Billing and Collection teams, including the effective performance management and training of all employees.
  • Oversight of the corporate accounting function with the effective analysis of all financial data, statements and reports for accuracy, while ensuring that all critical deadlines are met and reported to the CFO.
  • Responsibility for the timely and accurate execution of the customer billing cycle.
  • Responsibility for the review and delivery of all government and regulatory financial reporting.

Execulink is searching for a full-time Customer Service Technician for our team in Thedford!

About the Opportunity

You will primarily be responsible for installation, repair and implementation of our services in Lambton and Middlesex Counties.  This includes fibre to the home, telephone and cable TV, and the construction, maintenance and repair of corresponding systems from Head End/Central Office to customer premise.

Position Details:

  • Regular hours 8:00-4:30, weekdays, and weekends when necessary to meet customer service level requirements. Also the ability to work flexible hours as demanded by the system, including weekends, early mornings & part of an on-call rotation schedule
  • Travel to residential and corporate customer premises to completely install, test, instruct and demonstrate to customers the use of a large variety of single and multi-line telephone sets,  data services, multi-line key systems, VoIP Hosted Phone, HD/Digital Receivers, XDSL modems, cable modems and fibre ONT’s. 
  • Installation of inside wiring and connecting it to outside service wires
  • Underground cable locating and reporting, analyzing, isolating and repairing issues causing impaired service
  • Maintain CATV, Telephone and Fibre systems, Head End and Central Office maintenance, installation and repair
  • Install, splice, and test telephone, CATV and FTTH services; repair, remove or replace faulty equipment such as defective and damaged telephones, inside wire, system components and associated equipment
  • Prepare plans, time sheets, repair work orders and other reports as necessary, using standard abbreviation and field or function codes
  • Involved in Order/Inventory management for all equipment
  • Ensure vehicles and all equipment are properly maintained at all times

You Offer

  • Ability to discern distinct colours, consistently lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and working at heights and in adverse weather conditions are requirements of this role
  • Ability to successfully complete the following training: Fall Arrest, Emergency First Aid and Ladder Training
  • Valid class G Driver’s Licence, clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • Skilled in performing cabling, mechanical jobs and the use of power tools
  • Computer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft products is required
  • Knowledge in CATV, Wireless Broadband Networks, ADSL, VDSL, Copper Test equipment and Fibre services, and related test equipment. Fibre splicing and testing is an asset
  • Proven ability to work independently to identify potential issues and challenging situations, take appropriate action, implement solutions or seek the assistance of the Technician and/or Supervisor as required
  • Must have the ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner with a strong focus on customer service, while following established procedures

About the Opportunity

  • Performance management and coaching, including regular (minimum monthly) one-to-one meetings with staff individually, quarterly and annual performance reviews
  • Develop sales quotes for the team and create sales strategies to meet and exceed targets
  • Track and communicate sales reporting for monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and commission payouts
  • Quality control and administrative reporting, including call quality monitoring of sales staff, approval of time sheets and vacation requests, approving and submitting sales quotes for the team
  • Develop and maintain the team schedule, by analyzing queue statistics to ensure adequate staffing to meet fluctuating customer needs
  • Ensure interactions are timely with respect to web leads or other leads generated by social media
  • Identify and control customer service issues through issue management, tracking and resolution
  • Handle customer escalations and utilize escalations as a method to train and develop the team
  • Location – Woodstock, ON with at minimum one day every two weeks in our Kitchener, ON office
  • Hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday with some evenings and weekends, as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a call centre setting required; including 3-5 years proven ability to motivate and manage a team of inside sales representatives
  • Advanced knowledge of call centre technology including experience analyzing results and developing plans to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Experience creating schedules and real time queue management to achieve service level targets
  • Valid Class G Licence and access to reliable transportation

Our team is expanding, and adding a challenging and rewarding Operations Systems Administrator position.  Operations integrates and manages diverse systems to interact in an always on environment.  We are always looking solve our customers new and evolving challenges.

Our environment consists of servers located in multiple locations, with one primary data centre; including 100+ Physical Servers, 70+ VM’s and 30+ containers.  The Operations Systems team is also responsible for the processing and distribution of the video services provided to Execulink’s traditional Cable and IPTV customers.  The knowledge required for this role is broad.  Execulink is committed to training the selected candidate for any gaps in their knowledge.

  • AAA/Provisioning which includes Radius, DHCP and LDAP primarily, but also 802.1x, TR-069 and Tacacs.
  • Video which include transcoding, stream management, QAM delivery, Multicast deliver, HLS delivery, VOD, Middleware and STB’s.
  • E-mail, which includes highly scalable systems supporting SMTP, POP and IMAP.  Execulink relies heavily on use of cyrus-imap, exim and the NGINX mail module.
  • Web based services using Apache but also NGINX and Tomcat.
  • Monitoring a key part of this role, and an understanding of SNMP is required.  Execulink utilizes Nagios and Torrus.
  • Virtualization is an important part of Execulink’s system, heavily based on KVM.  Containers are utilized as required, with a plan to transition to OpenStack in the future.
  • Programming is a requirement.  Understanding of Fundamentals and Creating/Using API’s and making heavy use of SQL as required.  Significant quantity of Perl code, with some Python and PHP.  Knowledge of at least one of these languages is required to be effective, with an expectation that knowledge of Perl and Python will be accomplished.   Execulink also has some systems that are written in C, as required for performance.  Knowledge and use of a code repository will be expected.
  • Networking knowledge supporting at least Layer2 and Layer3 fundamentals is required to be effective.  Knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF are beneficial as well as 802.3ad.  Execulink makes significant use of Multicast for video distribution.  Firewalls and ACL’s are utilized to protect infrastructure as required.  Execulink is primarily a Juniper shop, so knowledge of JunOS is good, but we also have Cisco equipment utilizing IOS.
  • System Administration is a very broad area.  Execulink primarily runs Linux and uses RedHat/CentOS, but will utilize other distributions such as Debian if required.  You need to have good knowledge of Bash, Package Management, Protocol Analysis, strace, ssh, security and Database Administration.
  • Linux IPVS, ZFS, DRBD are used routinely, and occasional use of iSCSI as required.  Configuration Management has been implemented, utilizing CFEngine.

Job Requirements

  • College or University is preferred.  Demonstrable significant experience may be considered with minimum of High School Diploma.  Requires education and/or experience demonstrating a capacity to learn complex concepts and apply them in real world situations
  • Valid Class G Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation
  • Will require ability to work flexible hours as demanded by the system, including part of an on-call rotation schedule, and ability to perform scheduled maintenance during the hours of 1am-6am, as required
  • Will be required to work at remote locations ranging from Data centres and Central Offices to Pedestals at roadside.
