1. You have to use a valid access code before your call will be placed. Log in to the Phone Manager to check your access codes.

2. Ensure that you are using the access codes correctly. First, dial the long distance number you are trying to call.

3. Next, listen for a change in the sound of the dialtone that you hear.

4. Enter your access code.

5. The call should go through.
