Call Forwarding

Standard Call Forwarding

Transfer incoming calls to another number so that you never miss important calls again.

To Activate:

1. Pick up your handset and listen for a dial tone.

2. Dial *72 on your touch tone phone (rotary dial customers dial 1172.) You will hear two “beeps” and a dial tone.

3. Dial the phone number where you want your calls forwarded. This can be local, long distance or a speed call code (if you are forwarding to a long distance number, long distance charges will apply)

4. Your phone will now dial a courtesy call to the number you want your calls forwarded to.

5. Answer the courtesy call, or end the call once it reaches voicemail.  If the forwarding destination has no voicemail and cannot be answered simply hang up after 2 rings and attempt to enable forwarding again.  The second attempt will enable Call Forwarding without a need for another courtesy call.

6. Call Forwarding will go into effect within 5 seconds.

To Deactivate:

1. Pick up your handset and listen for a dial tone.

2. Dial *73 (rotary dial customers dial 1173).

3. Call Forwarding is deactivated within 5 seconds.

Busy Call Forwarding

You can also forward calls only when your phone line is already in use. Never miss an important call again.

To Activate:

1. Follow the Standard Call Forwarding activation instructions above using *90 (rotary dial customers dial 1190).

To Deactivate:

1. Follow the Standard Call Forwarding deactivation instructions above using *91 (rotary dial customers dial 1191).

No Answer Call Forwarding

If there’s no answer at your phone number, you can have the call forwarded to another number. It’s perfect for people who are on the go. Forward calls to your cell phone when you don’t answer at home!

To Activate:

1. Follow the Standard Call Forwarding activation instructions above using *92 (rotary dial customers dial 1192).

To Deactivate:

1. Follow the Standard Call Forwarding deactivation instructions above using *93 (rotary dial customers dial 1193).

Fixed Call Forwarding

With fixed call forwarding, you give an Execulink Representative a permanent number where all calls are to be forwarded. We set it up in our system permanently. You just use the codes to turn it off and on.
